Neuroscience and Cognitive Psychology

Neuroscience may be a multidisciplinary science that is concerned with the study of the structure and function of the nervous system. It encompasses the evolution, development, cellular and molecular biology, physiology, anatomy and pharmacology of the nervous system, as well as computational, behavioral and cognitive neuroscience.

Cognitive Psychology is that the scientific study of mind as information processor. It involves the study of all the items that continue inside your brain. Knowing more about how people think and process the information not only help researchers to gain deeper understanding of how the human brain works, but it allows psychologists to develop new ways of serving people handling with cognitive psychological difficulties. Cognitive psychology has also improved our understanding of how people form, store, process and recall the memories. Cognitive psychology assumes that a mediation process occurs between stimulus (input) and response (output).
